Bully 2; Rockstar’s Next Blockbuster Game in Production?

October 15, 2018 by Alex Burnstein

The critically acclaimed school simulator title on PS2, Bully, may now be getting a follow up with Bully 2.

While all eyes may be towards Red Dead Redemption 2 as it is getting closer to launch. It emerged in last weeks news that the developer has started casting calls for its next triple-A title.

The casting calls have asked for teens with placeholder names given to characters whereas, other calls mentioned older characters, the likes of “College Professors”, and the project being organised by Jessica Jeffries, casting director.

Bully 2 Rating

The information about the project is very little as it says, “Mild violence and profanity will be used in scenes with the young performer. The project itself is a thriller/drama and all scenes with the young performer will be handled with sensitivity.”

Bully 2 Launch Date

Bully 2 Release Date: Rumors of the game started surfacing last year, suggesting the game is currently in production and in 2009, Shawn Lee, the musician, claimed that he will be working on the soundtrack for Bully 2 in “the not so distant future.” Although, Rockstar has not officially announced or confirmed anything about Bully 2.

During an interview about Max Payne in 2011, Dan Houser, Producer at Rockstar Games, said “So we knew that we didn’t want to start doing the bully sequel instantly at that second with those guys – Even though it is a property like that, like Max, we are and might come back to in the future” and saying “There was just no impetus to do that then.”

Though now, with the new generation of consoles underway, we may see some progress.
