Alexis Alejandro Sánchez born on 19 December 1988, is a Chilean professional footballer who plays at forward position for the renowned English club, Manchester United and the Chile national team.
His career started at the age of 17, being a youth player for Cobreloa and after completion of the season, relocating to Italy in 2006 to play with Udinese.
His first trophies were when he started winning consecutive titles with Colo-Colo and River Plate as a loan and making a return to Udinese in 2008.
It was after he played three seasons in Italy that he was tranferred to Barcelona with the worth of £25 million, becoming the most expensive Chilean player of all time.
His first season at Barcelona, he was alongside the popular attackers, Lionel Messi and David Villa and the three made a pretty amazing trio winning them the Copa del Rey, Supercopa de España, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
The trio scoring a total of 82 goals the following season, with the club winning the 2012–13 La Liga while retaining the Supercopa de España. This was before Sánchez enjoyed his highest scoring return at the Blaugrana and upon the seasons end he had a total of 21 goals, and 14 assists.
In 2014, he transferred to Arsenal in a deal worth £31.7 million, a year later. Then in 2018, transferred to Manchester United.
