On Saturday, 22nd September 2018, Manchester City took on Cardiff City away from home in the English Premier League fixture. It was the 6th game of the season for both the clubs. Manchester City struck again in the 44th minute. This time the goal scorer was Gundogan with a fantastic shot from outside the box. The score stood at 3 – 0 at the end of the first half.

Manchester City continued to press in the second half and Mahrez got his first Manchester City goal in the 67th minute. Mahrez wrapped it up in the 89th minute of the game with his 2nd and City’s 2nd goal.

With this win Manchester City has now climbed to the 2nd place of the Premier League table. Liverpool is at the top of the table with 18 points in 6 games. Manchester City has also played 6 games and they have 16 points with 5 wins and a draw.
