The defending champions of the Women’s Champions Trophy are the Argentine Team . This year around they could not get the top finish  however they still made it to the final stage and will be playing against Japan for a Fifth Place Finish.

The host nation China will be playing against Great Britain for a Third Place Finish. This brings us to the top contenders for the Women’s Hockey Champions Trophy 2018; Australia and Netherlands both had a fantastic run throughout the tournament and decimated all of their opponents. Now they will be battling it out to take that trophy home.
