Russia Strikes Syria’s Idlib Province, earlier Trump warned Iran and Russia!

September 4, 2018 by Phil Nicholson

Northwest Syria, more specifically the Idlib province is home to the anti-Syrian forces; the Syrian and Russian jets in order to regain hold from the opposition bombarded around two dozens of locations in that area. So far no casualties have been reported, but with UN envoy and Trump reacting, it warns of humanitarian crisis ahead.

The terrorist outfits like al-Qaeda-linked jihadist alliance Hayat Tahrir al-Sham are said to have the stronghold in the northwestern Syria against which President Bashar al-Assad and his allies have been keeping up the weapons active.

But the other side of the story, coming from the US, which is an ally to none in this ongoing Syrian War warns the pro-government forces from making aerial strikes as they can lead to a humanitarian crisis.  The US president Trump earlier in his Tweet asked Assad and his allies, specifically, Russia and Iran to not  attack the province as doing so would be a ‘grave humanitarian mistake.’

President Bashar al-Assad of Syria must not recklessly attack Idlib Province. The Russians and Iranians would be making a grave humanitarian mistake to take part in this potential human tragedy. Hundreds of thousands of people could be killed. Don’t let that happen!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 3, 2018

On the other hand,  Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov brushed off any such claims and said that the Syrian army is actually fighting to wipe off the cradle of terrorism in the province.

The UN envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura have urged both Turkey and Russia to avert the bloodbath in the province.

It will be pertinent to mention here that US is in strategic and planning alliance with Saudi Arabia in Yemen war, where the worst human catastrophe is taking place and with even UN calling on again and again no heed is being paid on the aerial strikes, which majorly have the civilian women and school children as the victims.
