Remembering the 27 Victims of The Horrific Sandy Hook Massacre on the 6th Anniversary of the Incident

It was a usual morning in Newtown, Conneticut six years ago on December 14, 2012 until a 20-year-old man named Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary School and opened gunfire.He took the lives of 26 innocent people, including 20 children. The attacker also killed his own mother prior to the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The families of the 27 unfortunate victims of the Sandy Hook Massacre still have to live with utter devastation that incident brought to their lives. The First Grade children who were killed in the shooting would have been 7th Grade students today.

Today, is the 6th Anniversary of the horrific incident.

News of the massacre spread like wild fire across the globe. The whole world mourned the loss of 26 innocent lives. Then President Barack Obama deemed it the worst day of his presidency.

Sen. Chris Murphy,said in tweet“‘I’m so, so sad today, Sad for the searing loss, that hurts like hell every Dec 14th for those parents, my friends. And sad that I sent my youngest off to 1st grade this morning, and that I work with people who care more about politics than making sure he comes home safe.”

The following six years after the Horrific shooting , many of the victims families have set up foundations to raise awareness on gun control.
