Incarcerated Mexican Drug Lord Hector Beltran Leyva Passes Away Due To Cardiac Arrest

MEXICO CITY – Infamous Mexican Drug Lord Hector Beltran Leyva, leader of the the country’s most vicious and ruthless drug cartel ,passed away late on Sunday at a hospital due to cardiac arrest. He was transferred to the cardiac E.R from jail with chest pain but he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Beltran Leyva has been in jail since March 2, 2016 in Federal Prison Number 1, which is a maximum security facility in central Altiplano, Mexico

The Drug Lord was facing a federal prosecution because of various crimes, the Mexican Interior Ministry confirmed his death late on Sunday Night 19th November 2018.



Beltran Levya’s Nickname was “the H”. He was apprehended in 2014 by the Local Mexican Authorities. Leyva’s capture dealt a serious blow to a drug gangs.

According to Mexican Authorities 56 year old Beltran Leyva was transferred on from his jail cell to the E.R minutes after security officials noticed him experiencing severe chest pain.
