2018 Major League Baseball Season Teams, Schedule, Events, News – Live Update

Every year in between April and October, the Baseball fever hits the peak and even if you’re a non-baseball reader you’d actually know the reason behind this spike.  Yes, it is the time of Major League Baseball season and of course, those loving this sports whether in the US or away go gaga over during the season. And why shouldn’t they be?

MLB Season 2018 Events

The MLB season comes up with 162 games; played in between 30 teams. What’s making it more electrifying and eye-pleasing for the Baseball enthusiast is the division of the 30 teams battling into two leagues;  the American League and the National League.

The opening day of MLB 2018, 29th March, which is the earliest in the MLB history, witnessed eight divisional matchups including the 15 games. AS per the regular schedule each team played their four division teams 19 teams each. As of now, this year MLB season is gearing up towards its end, which is scheduled to take place on 31st October 2018.

It will be pertinent to mention here that 89th All-Star game was held on 17th July 2018 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. The American League stood tall by making it 8–6 in 10 innings.

American League:  Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays.

National League:  Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals,  Washington Nationals.
