This player will be the Penalty Taker at Juventus along with Cristiano Ronaldo, reveals Massimiliano Allegri

August 25, 2018 by Rana Hamza

Ronaldo’s first step in for the Juventus after the move from Real Madrid wasn’t up to the hype for which he is actually known as one of the world’s best footballers. The star who got the number 7 shirt on demand after arrival to the Serie A bigwig couldn’t net the ball even once out of his eight shots at the goal. But still, the Juve were lucky to cross the line as the winner with making it 3-2 against Chievo. Now ahead of the second game starting today against Lazio, the Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has made the decision about the penalty takers this season.

As expected, Ronaldo who has usually done the job of penalty taking at Real Madrid and Manchester United is there to take the penalties for this years’ Serie A for the Juventus. But here’s a twist as Dybala is going to charge along with him.

Cristiano and Paulo Dybala are our two designated penalty-takers this season,”  Juventus Boss told FourFourTwo.  The problem is more about who takes free-kicks, where we now have around six or seven players who’ll be standing around the ball!”, he added.

It should be noted here that the scenes coming out from the training session of Juventus shows that Ronaldo and Dybala have built great understanding with one and another and the penalty-taking won’t be a matter of division within the team.

Just FYI, Neymar and Cavani had the ‘tug of war’ numerous times after for penalty taking on the field after the Barcelona star joined the ranks of PSG.
