Paulo Dybala On Lionel Messi

Paulo Dybala expressed his wish to play for Barcelona besides his countryman Lionel Messi

Argentine footballer Paulo Dybala recently confirmed that Serie A side Juventus is yet to renew his contract. And amid all his speculation, Dybala expressed his wish to make a move to La Liga side Barcelona to play beside his international captain, Lionel Messi. For a very long time, he expressed his fondness towards Messi even while playing beside Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 26-year-old Argentine national already spent a nice season with Juventus before the whole of Italy faced the coronavirus pandemic. However, he was linked to a possible move from Turin since the last football season. Other sources also suggest that he will extend his contract at Juventus and will stay a few more seasons before his departure.

Barcelo is among the frontrunner when it comes to the transfer link of the Argentine star Paulo Dybala. Most of the inside reports suggest their mutual agreeing of taking a transfer. And recently, Dybala told CNN, “The truth is that Barcelona is a huge team worldwide and with Messi there even bigger.”

He said, “It would be very nice, but Juventus is also an incredible club, very big, full of history, where there are currently great players.” The star then further added, “There’s enough quality here to make two teams and the chance to play with [Gianluigi] Buffon and Cristiano Ronaldo, who make the club even bigger.”

Dybala said, “For now there is nothing, really. I have a year and a half left on my contract, which is not much, and I understand that with all this that has happened [coronavirus] it isn’t easy for the club, but other players have also renewed, so we are here waiting,” He then further added, “Obviously I am a player of this club and I am happy to be here.”

He said, “People love me very much and I love the people very much. I have a great appreciation for the club and the people who are here, I have a good relationship with my president and surely at some point, they will come to chat – or maybe not, I don’t know.” Dybala then also added, “At some point maybe there may be some possible renewal, but it depends on Juventus.”
