Juan Cuadrado don’t think Barcelona star Lionel Messi will join Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus

August 28, 2020 by Sourav Das

The whole world stood still after Argentine football legend Lionel Messi expressed his wish to leave FC Barcelona a few days ago. This shocking news came after the new coach started his feud with Uruguayan forward Luiz Suarez. Shortly after Suarez started his transfer talk, Messi also took his decision as a continuation with his ongoing feud with the team management.

Since that announcement, several football clubs reportedly started talks with Lionel Messi. And on that race, Manchester City took the leading position as Messi and Guardiola have a long association. However, there are several clubs like Manchester United and Inter Milan are also in the transfer race of the Argentine legend.

On the other hand, several media also reported Juventus’s attempt to get Messi on their side. However, Juan Cuadrado is not hopeful about the transfer. He recently told ESPN Nexo, “I can’t imagine it at all. The truth is that I don’t.” He further added, “Just like with Cristiano, many people did not believe and suddenly he arrived.”

The Juventus forward said, “I have not had the opportunity to talk to him yet. When it is my turn I will surely tell him where I feel much more comfortable [playing].” He then further added, “Hopefully what he knows and what a good player he was, he can contribute to the team and that we can get many titles together.”

Victories. Commitment. Dedication. Professionalism. With all my strength and with the precious help from my team-mates and all of the Juventus staff, we work once again to conquer Italy, Europe, and the world!”

To reach higher and to succeed in all challenges that may come our way.” He added, “Making every year into an adventure better than the one before and winning everything for our fans and supporters. To be the bearers of this amazing and unique passion that is Juventus, and to live up to its history, elevating our name, our values and our standards as high as possible.”
