Gareth Bale trolls Real Madrid while celebrating in front of ‘Wales, golf, Madrid’ banner

November 20, 2019 by Sourav Das

Wales has clinched an awesome victory by 2-0 score against Hungary last night to secure their place in the Euro 2020. After their brilliant performance in the Euro 2016 where they secured their place in the semifinals, wales now again took the football world by storm after booking their tickets to the Euro next year.

Right after securing their qualification spot from Group E, bale along with his Wales teammates danced in front of the Wales flag captioning “WALES. GOLF. MADRID… IN THAT ORDER”. The flag was made to criticize the recent comments by former Real Madrid striker Predrag Mijatovic where he told the media that Gareth Bale likes to play golf more than playing for Madrid.

Mijatovic recently said, “I think Gareth Bale is a very particular kind of person,” and then further added, “I don’t know him personally, but from what I’ve read of the comments he has made, he seems quite a particular type, which might mean he comes across as being a bit strange.”

The former star then further said, “But to have someone like that at the club, who they say isn’t integrated and has other, more important worries than his own team and his club… the first thing he thinks about is Wales, then golf and after that, Real Madrid. I haven’t spoken to him but that’s how he comes across.”

A very famous Welsh football-themed television program called Sgorio Cymru recently asked Gareth Bale to take his own stance on that remark of Mijatovic. The Welsh star said “I’ve heard it, especially when I was on the bench and when I came off, and the boys were laughing,” and then added, “It’s a good bit of fun.”

Gareth Bale then expressed, “I find [the Spanish press] hilarious to be honest, especially some of the pictures and stuff my friends send me.” He then further added, “On one it said triple bogey – and I’ve never had a triple bogey! At least give me an albatross! It’s funny.”
