November 26, 2018 by Sourav Das

Tottenham Hotspur will face congested fixture till 1st January next year. But, they are now in a good mood after defeating Chelsea at the Wembley stadium by the 3-1 score. Maurizio Sarri also faced his first loss as the Chelsea coach on that match as they previously had 8 wins and 4 losses in their last 12 Premier League games.

Dele Alli first earned his team the must-needed lead in the first half through his brilliant header. Then, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min came into action and scored another two for the Spurs. Chelsea, on the other hand, tried their best to equalize but failed to do so. Olivier Giroud scored the only goal for the Blues in the 85th minute of the match.

While talking about their future plans, Dele Alli told “We have to keep that as our level,” and then added, “We can’t drop off, and we have to improve as well.” He then also said, “We’ve got a busy month and some really tough fixtures, and it gives us confidence going into those games that we can beat anyone.” He also praised their last opponent while saying “Chelsea are a top side, they have some amazing players and they’ve been in great form as well.”

Dele Alli gave his own views about their last clash against Chelsea while saying “So to perform the way we did, to dominate the game so much, to have so many chances, we’ve got to keep that up.” He then said, “We just need to keep this form up and improve, not drop off or take our foot off the pedal just because we got a good win.”
