The biggest football event is all up and going in Russia and the news which gave many of the fans setbacks was many of the top teams including Spain, Portugal and Argentina exiting from the Round of 16. One of the saddest out of such exclusions were Cristiano  Ronaldo and his Portugal leaving the World Cup dream unfulfilled. The La Liga star went off from the global event but remained in the headlines as usual. At first, all the buzz was about his super performance in the World Cup, which turned out to insufficient for Portugal to carry through the next round of the mega event. But what really left the football fans scratching their heads was rumours of CR7 bidding adieu to Real Madrid and joining Juventus.

The Portuguese star who often goes with titles like World’s Best Footballer or GOAT had 9 superb years of glory with bigwig Spanish club, and his move to Italian club Juventus was something none of his fans would have expected. The rumours and hype about Ronaldo ending his 9-years of alliance with one of the world’s best football clubs were making rounds for several days. Many of them were too sure about this move as some reliable sources were actually backing up this news.

On Tuesday, finally, the confirmation about one of the most hyped football news of the decade was made with world’s best footballer going to Juventus on 4-years contract with the Italian club. Right after this, football-enthusiasts were all on the edge of their seats to know about the contract details including the salary being offered to Portuguese star.
