Qatar is the smallest country to have won a Fifa World Cup bid. It seemed like an impossible task for a small country like Qatar to win the bid. But somehow they managed to win the rights of hosting the biggest sporting event in the world. When Qatar got the bid, there were many concerns regarding the weather conditions, the stability in the region, and the country’s overall ability to host the event. But now as the time is coming closer, we can see a lot of progress in terms of infrastructure development and other preparations for the World Cup.
