As previously rumored, after its official announcement earlier this year of the upcoming kart racing video game named Team Sonic Racing that there might be a delay in its release as of originally planned for “Winter 2018”. And it seems like rumors are true. On Thursday, Sega on their official Twitter account for Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise tweeted that they’re delaying the game and plans to launch it on May 21, 2019.
Sega explained the reason for the delay in the tweet saying “To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we’re giving the team extra time to work on it.”
