George Bush Sr. Once Wrote This Funny Memo To The White House Staff Regarding His Fat Dog Ranger

September 1, 2019 by Musfirah Khurram

Presidential dogs is a convention that returns right to George Washington – 30 of the 44 presidents have had in any event one canine in the West Wing.

Current President Donald Trump is the first since William McKinley more than 100 years back to not have a canine or pet of any sort in the White House, clarifying that he “doesn’t have opportunity,” and that it “feels somewhat fake to me.” According to his first spouse Ivana, Trump is just “not a pooch fan.”

In 1992, when George Bush Sr. was President, an English Springer Spaniel named Ranger found a cheerful home at the White House. Officer was an amicable puppy who was well known with the staff, to such an extent that a significant number of them couldn’t avoid giving him treats.

Officer turned out to be fat to such an extent that Bush needed to convey this comical reminder, educating staff to abstain from sustaining Ranger “nourishment of any sort.”

Ranger was one of six puppies from his mother Millie, who is often referred to as “the most famous dog in White House history.”

“My dog Millie knows more about foreign affairs than these two bozos,” George Bush Sr. told during his reelection campaign, basically he was referring to his opposing candidates Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

Millie is even credited as the writer of Millie’s Book, which was discharged in August 1990 and came to #1 on the New York Times hit verifiable rundown that equivalent year.

Tragically, Ranger was euthanized in April 1993 because of malignancy, with his corpulence adding to his general weakness.

Officer’s sibling Spot would later turn into another presidential pet after George W. Hedge moved into the White House in 2001.
