Ed Sheeran to star in Danny Boyle’s next Movie – Here’s everything you need to know!

August 31, 2018 by Sourav Das

If you only know Ed Sheeran for ‘Shape of You’ then you please need to rethink as its high time for you to do so as the soft pop star is all set to make his film debut, thanks to Danny Boyle for that. Those who would not actually agree to the above lines as Sheeran has done multiple cameos, notably in Game Of Thrones, and Bridget Jones’ Baby. The point is this time the ‘shape of you star’ will be doing a complete role, not a cameo or a special appearance.

What would make Sheeran fans reach cloud nine is he will be starring himself in the film as its comedy musical film. Those who have actually got on the edge of their sets need to wait a bit as the film is slated to hit the cinema screens in September next years.

Talking about the story of the film written by Richard Curtis, the film revolves around a guy who wakes up thinking that he can actually carry on with the legacy of The Beatles. The lead role in the film is played by Himesh Patel along with Lily James. The other major cast of the film includes Joel Fry, Lamorne Morris and of course Ed Sheeran as Ed Sheeran.

It seems that music star went on enjoying his experience with Danny Boyle in his first movie with a crucial role. “I got to actually kind of learn how to act,” Sheeran told the AP, “ With the Game of Thrones thing, that was literally me popping in for a day and making a cameo… But this was like full days on set, like full 12-hour days.”

It should be noted here that film is still untitled, stay tuned for all the updates regarding this flick here.
