India’s top order batsman and opener Prithvi Shaw recently injured his ankle during the practice match against Cricket Australia XI. Good news is that Prithvi Shaw is showing signs of a swift recovery.
The 19-year-old batting sensation was seen jogging around the ground at Adelaide with a protective brace wrapped around his previously injured left ankle while his team mates were preparing for the fifth day of the first Test against Australia.
“With youth on his side there might just be a case where he might recover quicker. We’ll make a call as and when we get closer to Perth,”
The Mumbai batsman caught the attention of cricket lovers the world over when he played his first test series against West Indies in October. Shaw effortlessly scored a century on his very debut and followed it by a 70-run performance in the second match.
