A small percentage of cross-eyed cats may be the result of nerve damage in the eye muscles. Meet Olive who has more Instagram followers than some minor celebrities. She was rescued by a kind lady, Michelle Traynor, in New York. Michelle found the poor kitten covered in tree sap and in a bad condition. This furry creature has crossed-eyed and a prominent facial feature, giving her a unique look.
This short-haired tabby cat has over 30,000 Instagram followers, with people falling in love with her because of her crossed expression and cute smile. Michelle started uploading pictures of her tabby cat on her Instagram page. There has been huge increase in number of cat’s followers.
“Olive was alone and covered in tree sap and very sick when she was found,” Michelle explained. “After a lot of baths and medication, she was finally well enough to come live with me.”
Michelle says that Olive is just like any other cats, and her unique appearance makes the people love her more. In fact, the crossed eyes make their personality different from others.
“Despite her eyes, she can see well but she does have a bit of an underdeveloped jaw which causes her overbite,” said Michelle, adding, “She can be shy, but loves to burrow under blankets.”
Olive spends her days cuddling in her owner’s lap and posing for pictures to entertain her fans online. We have seen many famous cats online, but Olive’s good looks sets her apart from the rest. She is an adorable kitty.
